Stickman Riot

Stickman Riot, 2022

About a year ago now I was trying to get my spouse to play a card game with me. We tried MTG but since I played several years ago, the game has become too cumbersome for new players to learn, or for returning players to find any fun, however we both enjoyed the core mechanics.

With this in mind, we sought to create our own card game. We made about 300-400 cards before we ran out of steam. The game is still fun but making the game was more rewarding because it meant that I was engaged in deep thought with someone I love.

While making the game the cards needed art to display, there are tons of these cards with pictures but this one is my favorite because it puts the "stickman" of bathroom fame, somewhere unexpected, a street riot.
